Darklord is free to play, and will stay that way. If you would like to “tip” us or otherwise contribute, it would be much appreciated. Coding and maintaining (and building) a mud takes a lot of time and effort. This time is contributed by us for free. However, hosting a mud is not free, and any amount would be appreciated to help cover this expense.
